A nonprofit rockstar is someone who’s willing to step up and provide solid support to an organization they believe in–and who does it in a way that empowers other staff and volunteers to take up the work so that the organization remains vibrant and sustainable.

A Nonprofit Rockstar is equally at home “on stage” & “behind the scenes”. S/he gives voice to bold dreams about the future, and inspires others to act now to change the world in incremental, powerful, and even quantum-leap ways. The best nonprofit rockstars among us know it’s not about them—it’s about the people and communities they serve, and the intergenerational leaders who are the emerging rockstars right beside them.
